Being a grown up is just so unfair, isn’t it? Especially during Spooky Season. All the really fun stuff is for silly little babies and everything for grown ups is just way too scary, huh? Yeah, I know.
You dream of being able to dress up in a cute little costume and go door to door, trick or treating too, don’t you, sweetheart? Yeah? I think you’d look absolutely adorable toddling through the neighborhood in a unicorn onesie, collecting candies and treats until your little bucket was spilling over. Or maybe we should dress you up like a baby duck, since your thick squishy diapers make you waddle like a little ducky. What do you think of that? Hmm? And I saw the most precious little puppy costume with floppy ears and a cute collar and leash. That would keep you out of trouble, at least.
Oh? You don’t think you’d get in any trouble? I don’t know. Its a great big scary world out there, baby. If you’re just wandering around, not holding mommy’s hand, anything might happen to you! That’s why I like to keep you in the nursery, where you’re safe and sound.
But, even here in the nursery there are ways to have adventures and experience what it would be like to go trick or treating in your own special costume. You just make yourself comfortable and close your eyes now … Mommy’s going to help you to relax and regress …
